Kansas State Highlights

On Sunday, November 15th, K-state’s mens basketball team took on the Western Illinois Leathernecks of the Summit Conference.

Head Coach Frank Martin was upset at the team’s victory on Friday and K-state looked improve their defensive rotations and find an rhythym offensively.

The Cats started poorly going in to halftime with a 31-20 lead, but pulled away in the second half en route to an 82-50 victory.The Cats shot a decent percentage in the first half (41.9) but in the second half it rocketed to 60 percent.

Jamar Samuels led the Cats with 19 points and 7 rebounds. Jordan Henriqeuz again, provided solid defense and pulled down ten boards.
